  2. Well, whenever I put on makeup, to prevent it from looking thick and caked on, I take a damp wash cloth and blot my face. it takes off all the excess so it's very light and it gives my complexion a pretty, dewy glow. Just be sure to BLOT, not RUB. If you rub it will take the make-up all the way off. Also, about an hour before I go to shower and shave, I put a ton of lotion on my legs. Then when I get in the shower I let my legs soak in the warm water for about 5 minutes. The lotion makes the hair on my leg softer and the warm water opens up the pores on my leg making the shave much smoother. After I get out of the shower I apply a little bit more lotion and my legs look great! :) Oh & another I just remembered (lol). I always (on the weekends or when I have a lot of free time) wash my hair really good with a clarifying shampoo (don't too often or it will dry out your hair) then I put a deep conditioner on my hair and just put my hair up then go about what I'm doing. About an hour later I will wash my hair. It allows the conditoner to penetrate my hair really good. Make sure to get all the excess water out of your hair before you get out of the shower though, because if you don't it will drip and make a mess.
  3. LESS IS MORE! the less you put on your face, the brighter and cleaner it looks. so i just put like two coats of mascara on and it looks GREAT. you get flirty bright eyes, do it ;)
  4. I always wash my face before i reapply make up. Not like a touch up, but let's say like after school or something and I'm going out. It always looks fresh and better! I also wash my face at least 3 times a day thorougly with soap & water to prevent acne moisturizing is REALLY important. I ALWAYS apply lotion after shower and ALWAYS after washing my face.
  5. NOTHING can enhance or detract from your face more than your eyebrows. Nothing. Eyebrows can make your face look longer, shorter, rounder, less round, they can even enhance/detract from your facial expressions. I hate seeing someone with bad - or poorly plucked - eyebrows. I mean, it does NOT have to be that way. It is the ONE beauty thing I will spend $$ on.... I will have them professionally done. I personally like mine to be not too thick, but definitely not too thin.....(Sharpie eyebrows)....and with a bit of an arch. But just a bit. Otherwise, you'd look constantly angry or evil. ;) ALSO - and my mother taught me this - never EVER ever EVVVVER go to bed without washing your face. Never go to bed with makeup on, at all. It doesn't matter if you are exhausted or you're coming home from partying or what, WASH the face before you go to sleep....otherwise, you will end up with big old pores and bad skin.
  6. Hi:) There's many ways to make your skin and hair look healthy and beautiful. I enjoy using natural products ( straight from my fridge ) and I can see the effects every day! One of them is washing my face every morning with boiled (but cool ) water with a little bit of whole milk mixed together. It makes your skin really fresh and smooth! You can put this mixture to your bath to make your body silky and soft. The best hair conditioner I have ever come across and still use today is simply a mixture of egg yolks, castor oil (which you can get it in pharmacies) and a small amount of lemon juice - all mixed together - put it on your hair and wrap with foil and a towel. Keep it on as long as you can. The longer the better, however. It makes your hair stronger, shiny and really healthy. Diet is also very important for your skin, because the real beauty comes from within:) You must remember some simple rules in your everyday life and you'll see how healthy and naturally beautiful you will become. You can find some really good advice about it on my website.
