How can you find quotes to what stocks will go up tomorrow?
I'm doing a stock market game for my accounting class. I need to get in first place to get extra credit, right now I'm in about 4th. The kid in first said that "all of his stocks were expected to go up today." I was just wondering how he knew that. A good inside trading site or what? Also, any good ideas on what to invest in? I've got roughly $24,000 left to invest. THANKS!

- Get real! Anybody who can tell what stocks will go up tomorrow is not sitting in front of his/her computer answering questions on Yahoo!Answers, but sailing in the Caribbean.
- The only way to know which stocks will go up tomorrow is to have inside trading knowledge ( a felony ). The only other way is to have a crystal ball. Most likely your friend has been reading some articles that claim to have knowledge of which stocks will increase. Usually these articles tout the stocks owned by the author.
- No such thing. The guy is likely lying or speaking with tongue in cheek. Yahoo finance will is a source to look for the futures trading on a stock before and after the bell, but it is certainly no quarantee that they will be up or down when the market opens. My suggestion, since this is only for a class. Consolidate everything into one single stock. If the stock jumps up...then your whole portfolio could use the boost. Tomorrow is thurday. I would put everything in DELL. They had a phenominal before school sell-off on their laptops and they report their earnings tomorrow. I, myself, am anticipating them doing very well. So, with that, let it all ride on DELL.
- DONT LISTEN TO THOSE GUYS I DID THAT TYPE OF GAME EVERY YEAR FROM 6TH- 12TH GRADE AND MY TEAM THAT I HAND PICKED EACH YEAR NEVER FINISHED LESS THAN SECOND. TOMORROW IS THURSDAY, THE DOW IS COMING OF OF THE BIGGEST TWO DAY RALLY IN ALMOST 5 YEARS. PUT ALL 24K INTO SIGMA (SIGM) BEAT EARNINGS TODAY BY 0.24 EPS.
