How can I make one of my quotes "My quote."?

I have a quote that I came up with and I want it to be legally mine. Do I need to get it patented?

In this case, you are talking about Intellectual Property attorneys, more specifically Trademark or Copyright specialists (depending on the nature of the "quote").
