- Ask Monica Lewinsky lol
- If the stains are fresh (hasn't been washed), you can try using baby wipes to clean it. If that does not work, then use make-up remover (the ones you use for the face) or liquid dish washing soap.
- i stumbled upon this website just recently and it's a great help: How to Remove Make-up Stains From Clothing By eHow Fashion, Style & Personal Care Editor Sometimes make-up gets on our clothing and will not come out in the regular wash cycle. Because of the composition of cosmetics, it can easily be a permanent stain if not treated appropriately. Removing the stains is not difficult if they are caught early and treated while they are fresh. Follow these tips and get clean again. Things You’ll Need: Mineral oil / Soft rag / Ammonia / Baby wipes / Non-oily make up remover / Shampoo / Car part lubricant / Aerosol hairspray / Liquid dish soap Step 1 Remove non-oily make up stains, like eye shadow and blush, by lightly brushing the powder off of the clothing. Next blot the spot with a damp cloth or a baby wipe. Launder as normal. Step 2 Use a dish detergent or shampoo on oily stains, first. Gently blot out the stain using the detergent or shampoo and a little bit of water. Lightly blot until the stain is removed. Launder as usual after the stain is removed. Step 3 Remove more stubborn stains by first dabbing at it with a non-oily make-up remover on a soft cloth. Do not rub the material harshly or you will risk further setting the stain and making it spread to other areas. Step 4 Rub in mineral oil or a car part lubricant to loosen up really tough stains like your favorite red lipstick. Let the oil or lubricant sit on the spot for about 20 minutes, then lightly dab at the spot with ammonia. Work in a small amount of liquid dish detergent and launder as usual. Step 5 Do not dry any clothing that still has stains present in an air dryer. The heat from the dryer will set the stain making it virtually impossible to remove. If by mistake you dry a stained garment, try soaking it for 24 hours in a bucket of really hot water and a scoop of color-safe bleach.
- try dishwashing liquids! it works wonders!
- wash your clothes.
