1. As long as you are with people you enjoy, you should be having fun. Just dont hold back when it comes to danceing. Have fun and let it go! If your friends are too embarressed to dance then you be the first one and let them follow. If you have a date then the ame rule goes. Have fun.
2. It is one night and it should be fun but don't expect miracles or the best time ever. Keep your expectations in line. This will help ensure that you really do have a good time and aren't a big stress ball. Hang out with your friends. Find a dress you like that looks good on you and that you feel comfortable in. Have your hair done professionally unless you are really good at doing your own hair. Just relax and have fun. It's not that big of a deal.
