suitable make-up for my prom night??!!?

well.. i wnt some tips for wearing make-up on my prom night.. i don't want to look very cheesy.. i want it to be simple but eye-catching!!! and also wnna knw which brands should i get! thx

1. Schedule a make-up session at the beauty counter of your local mall. Clinique, Estee Lauder, all of those brands sold in department stores are really great. For a special event, I schedule these free make-up sessions and usually just buy the lipstick that they use on me. I've always had good luck this way and the makeup lasts and lasts all night.
2. A night make-up should always highlight the eye, so highlight your eyes with eyeliner, put on some mascara, use darker eyeshadows and create smokey eyes but dont put too much color. Use blusher that compliment your cheeks and the blusher should be lighter and not too much. For the lips just dab on lipgloss or lipstick with natural color that match your lips. 3. Special Night dresses for that particular occassion are available in the lingerie shops. Just go for it. If you ask me I would suggest a Fairy Dress to look like 'Pari'

5. Focus on your eyes. Wear lots of mascara to make your eyelashes longer and thicker, maybe a little eyeliner, and a pretty color of eyeshadow that matches your dress but highlights your eyes. I would use a little of blush and lip gloss too. Good Luck! =)
