I am getting my make-up done for prom but the place I am getting it done says I need to bring a picture. I have looked for magazines but I want to find websites with different types of makeup dues. I want to see actual pictures of makeup jobs on faces and not just tips on how to do it. It may sound kind of confusing but need some websites. Thanks for your time

If you go to any fashion magazine site, they'll usually have a gallery of models. Just browse through those and print them out.
You do know that the models in magazines are wearing makeup that would make them look like hookers if they set foot outside of the studio. That having been said, whatever you do there really is only one rule to follow as far as coverage goes and that is, if you go heavy on the eye make up, go light everywhere else, dark lips and lighter everywhere else, and never do pink cheeks, you will look like a doll. And, for any formal occasion, colored eye shadow is out. Just ask anyone from the 60s who wore blue, from the 70s who wore pinks and purples, from the 80s who wore reds and blacks (nobody wore real makeup in the 90s it was either all natural or clown/goth/cosmo). Wear makeup that emphasizes what you really look like so that you can always look back at those pictures and be proud of what you looked like. Finally, find a picture that reflects the sort of look you want for that event. I don't mean find a picture of a girl in a prom dress with sparkly make up and a silver dress. I mean, find a model that has the attitude you want to show, sweet and innocent or a bit sexy, all american girl, only you know who you are. By the way, there is no such thing as a sexy high school girl, only high school girls who have sex. Have fun and be yourself.
I am sorry to tell you this, but this place you are going to is not very professional. When you go to a make up artist, her job is to find the best look for you and your facial features, try to bring out the best in you.. If you like a certain look that's fine, but they still have to work on your face and make you look dreamy...
well u don't neccassarily need websites. A good idea is to think of your favorite celebrity and do a search on yahoo pictures and if they are famous enough they'll have award show pics and the make up is guaranteed to look nice.
