Looking for a site that shows goverment incentives for new companies for moving to a particular region?
I have to write a research paper, comparing three cities: Durham, NC, Tucson, AZ, and Manchester, NH. One of the criteria is locating govt incentives given to new businesses for moving into one of these particular regions. I have tried to google it, but I haven't had any luck. I just don't know where to begin. Please help!

- Check the Trade Ministry website.
- Federal govmt is not where to look. Most of the incentives come from the county level. In Kansas City, our local county gave millions of dollars in tax breaks to Kansas Speedway. In overland Park Kansas, the local county gave millions of dollars in breaks to bring the Sprint World Head Quarters, the site was so big the city gave it it's own zip code. Look at businesses like Professional sports. Cities give big breaks for professional teams to build and operate their stadiums. Almost every big business gets some kind of a govmt incentive. It's bring more revenue to the city by stimulating the local economy and eventually the big businesses after the grace period brings huge tax dollars to the city. Does that help? Good luck, the examples are everywhere. You can't google it you have to talk to sources like the Small Business Admisistration, Local Chamber of Comerce, they will have lot of examples for you you.
