- after cleasing with your cleanser of choice ( i would recommend cetaphil facial wash), make it a habit to follow up with a toner (i love clinique clarifying lotion 2 - your numberwould depend on your skin type or neutrogena alcohol free toner works good as well), then moisturize (i use cetaphil daily face moisturizer, its light and non-comedogenic so it wont clog pores or philosphy's hope in a jar) and dont forget to moisturize your lips as well. wait 10-15 minutes before putting on makeup before you put on your foundation, use a primer/ face primer, that would help set your foundation. (i use mac prep & prime) a little goes a long way. then put on your make up as you would normally do. and after all is done end it by spraying face mist to set your make up. ( mac has a few of them available i believe evian does too...) that should take care of your problem. and before i forget... exfoliate atleast twice a week =)
- Look for a cleanser that is creamy and not foamy. A foamy cleanser can dry out the skin really bad. After cleansing the skin find a moisturize to suit your skin needs. During the winter months find something cream based. A cream moisturizer will hydrate the skin more. If you are worried that it's heavy find one that is oil-free. Allow the moisturizer to dry for a couple minutes then apply a primer. A primer is used to prep the skin for makeup. I use Philosophy clear present it's $25 but last a long time. Let the primer dry then apply your foundation. A couple other things to do is to exfoliate twice a week to get rid of dead skin cells and to use a hydrating once a week to add needed moisture to the face. Good Luck
