beauty and make up secrets let me know what you do to make your make up look better on you!?

please let me knw of some beauty secrets you haev for EX: put on the right amount of face cream let it soak in your skin and then apply powder to your face to get ride of the oil. i got this one form an earlier answer i didnt get the name so i can give her credit on it but i didnt come up with it

1. well besides having a great skin care routine (for the wellbeing of your skin - and to have a good surface to work on) you should really have a foundation brush. it's really smooth and it changed my life!! most people use their fingers, but if you put some foundation on the top of your hand and then use the brush to spread it across your face, you get an absolutely beautiful and lasting finish! no streaks! no fuss!! too easy :) oh and if you want your eyes to appear larger, without too much liner, wiggle the mascara at the base of you lashes (this will dispense more mascara and make it look like you have liner on!!). you should always use mascara AFTER eyeshadow. this is because sometimes the eyeshadow falls onto the lashes, and when you use the mascara over it, it makes the lashes look heaps longer. buy an illuminator or blush and sweep it upwards on your cheekbones or even the bridge of your nose (the illuminator not the blush lol :P). this will make you look loads fresher and it's so easy. if you want your lipstick/gloss to last longer, use a bit of foundation on your lips first - this is a good base. then apply one layer of lippy, blot, then apply another coat or so. this will make it look so much better and last so much longer!! thats all i can really think of for the essentials but if you hav e any questions feel free to contact me! :) xxx
2. to make me look better my makeup has to go with what I'm wearing for an example if I'm wearing light pink and dark pink then i apply some eyeshadow i apply first on the lip of my eye light pink then near my eyebrow i apply dark pink!~
3. Oh I have many, many tips. 1) Let your moisturizer soak in for 10 minutes before applying foundation or powder. Your coverage will be much less blotchy as the cream soaks into your skin. 2) Fill in your eyebrows with powder or a pencil, your eyebrows frame your face - this is not a step to skip! 3) Apply blush with a big fluffy brush, not the brush that comes with the product, if you use a big brush you will get a soft kiss of color. The brush that came with the blush will give you mean little streaks a.k.a. bacon strips! 4) You need to change your foundation in the winter and summer, your skin color changes and it will no longer seamlessly match. 5) Always wipe the tip of the mascara wans on a kleenex to remove excess product to prevent ugly clumps. 6) Never test lipsticks in stores on your lips, you should see the people that use them ... and never, ever, ever test mascara. 7) Blotting sheets and blotting powders are your friend, use them often. 8) Black eyeliner does not look good on 13 year olds. 9) Experiment and try new things. Go to counters and play. Chat with salespeople just to get ideas. 10) Most people use a bronzer that is one shade too dark for them. Get a lighter one and layer it to make it darker. Brown streaks are your face are not a good look. That's my top 10 for the day. HTH!
