Make up for a wedding?

It's not my wedding but my friends. I really don't want to do my own make up (cause it might look plain) so i want it done professionally. where do i go for this? i live in orange county, ca. Do i start calling salons or malls?

  1. yes i would do that, if you do it at a mall most place will give you a free constalltion and just pretend you want to buy stuff later and they do your makeup for free
  2. Definitely start calling malls they have a lot of wedding caterers and wedding planners.
  3. Actually, the bride usually takes all of the maids of honor to the salon with her that morning.. the bride is supposed to arrange for it.
  4. The best place you can go is to MAC cosmetics for this. They have counters in all Nordstroms including Costa Mesa and Brea depending on where in OC you live. And also are MAC stores in the brea mall and south coast plaza that are awesome. It will cost you $45 but you get all that back in product. Well worth it! Call to make appt. they fill up fast. I am having mine done at the brea store for my friends wedding in April.
  5. Never worry about plain makeup. Natural is the most flattering on anyone. Believe it or not your hairstylist can probably do this for you, or know someone who can. If you decide to do it yourself, start by knowing what you want to emphasize. If your eyes, then decide if you want a pretty and natural look or a sultry look. You can do simple by adding a pale vanilla over the entire lid, and add depth with a darker shade from lash line to crease, or go for the smokey cat eye (which I do not recommend for a wedding). If you'd like to emphasize your lips skip the second shadow step and go for a red lip plumping lip color.
  6. Virtual Makeover. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link below
