8th grade graduation make-up?

So I have my eighth grade graduation in the morning. A family friend who works at a salon is coming into work early to do my hair, but I don't have anyone to do my make-up because its so early that I can't make an appointment at that time. I would do it myself but I don't really wear make-up and don't know a thing about applying it, and I can't exactly practice now because graduation is this friday, HELP?!

  1. pay the hair dresser extra to do ur makeup or just ask ur mom!
  2. Have a friend do it?? Just put on some mascara, and lip gloss and maby some blush and stuff and you should be good to go its not that hard to do.... Maby ask the hair stylest to do your make up 2?? Hope this helps... Have fun at your gradguation!!
  3. Try something light. It really depends on your eye color, but a nice light color (like white) will illuminate your eyes nicely. A LITTLE blush on your cheekbones and some lip gloss. Keep it simple and ask an older family member for help. The lady that does your hair might know some tricks from working at the salon. Good luck and congratulations on your graduation!
  4. If it's on Friday, that's a lot of time to practice in. Back in the day I didn't wear much make up myself, eyeliner, shadow and lipgloss did the trick. Please don't tell me you're another one of those girls who buys the gowns simply for /eighth/ grade grad. (: The little black dress is ten times better.
  5. its not very hard. just get a friend to do it. and its not that big of a deal i mean its 8th grade.
  6. Ok... ask your salon friend to apply your makeup I'm sure they won't mind Or your mom or something You dont want to overdo it so just put a little foundation, brown eyeliner, and mascara I'm graduating eight grade too and thats perfect
  7. calm down... ok so start off with a blush that is 2 shades above your skin tone, then, ON TOP, put on loose or presed powder. use a good mascara and some pinkish lipgloss. and if u want just add some sparkly eyeshadow.. CONGRATS!!!
  8. Since your graduation is in the morning I would reccomend you put on a few coats of mascara for long, cute lashes. I would put concealer on wherever you need to (i.e- blemishes, undereye circles, etc). Maybe put on some pink eyeshadow. Then to finish it off I would slick on some sheer or pink ip gloss. ConGRADulations (ahaha that was dumb) on your graduation and have fun! :-]
  9. Is the graduation tomorrow or or Friday? If it's on Friday, then why do you need to do your hair and make-up? If the actual graduation is tomorrow, then ask anyone who knows how to apply make-up to do it for you. It's not that hard to find someone (it could be your mom, friend, etc.) But if it's on Friday then you have time to either practice or get an appointment by then. In general you shouldn't worry about it too much - I've seen girls go to their graduation looking like clowns, so even no make-up would be perfectly fine.
  10. It will cost you roughly $40 but places like MAC at department stores will do your make up and teach you how to apply it. If that's not an option for you, is there a female in your life like mom, an older sister or neighbour who can help you? If you have to do it yourself, check out covergirl.com for some colour tips and application tips. Cover Girl is pretty inexpensive too. Stay as simple as possible, like light colour on the eyes, bit of mascara (if you feel comfortable using it), lip gloss and a little bit of blush. I hope I've helped, congrats on grad and remember that natural beauty is always the best way to go...accentuate what you have and don't be a slave to what others are doing.
  11. Go to the mall to one of the dept. store makeup chairs. Tell them you don't use makeup and have them show you how to do a light application. If not. A little foundation or coverup stick if and where you need it , if not skip it. Bronzer powder to give you a sun kissed look with a little tinted lip gloss. If you can a little mascara to define your eyes and your done.
  12. Many hairdressers also study cosmetology, Even if she didn't study it, I have a feeling your friend who's doing your hair can also do your make-up. Give her a call, so she can think about what colors to bring for you. She'll know enough to make you look pretty and natural; that's what you want. A little eye shadow, mascara, and maybe eyeliner. Some blush, and some light colored lipgloss. If your skin is oily, you'll want some translucent powder. Good luck, hon, and have fun!!:)
  13. The best thing to do is to wear minimal makeup because you do not want to look like a clown. On my 8th grade graduation, I wore ugly bright blue MAC eyeshadow and I really regret is. Just simply wear a little mascara, maybe a little blush, and a little lip gloss and you're ready to go! :)
  14. i think you should go on some websites like www.specktra.net and www.seventeen.com and research, you can also just type in "makeup how-to" on google or go on www.youtube.com and search "makeup" there. oh and by the way, some people spell t differently, no idea why, make up, make-up, makeup, so do searches w/ all of those. good luck! my formal's this friday too =] P.S. have a get-together w/ your girlfriends and get them to do your make-up
