  6. sure. light is important. To make oneself look younger, blend a light make-up stick or coloring above the eye, just under the brow. To make a nose thinner, blend a darker shade of make up stick on the sides of the nose. They both work wonders. Guerlain makes the best make up on the planet. A bit pricey but well worth it. The key is in the amount of moisture. It doesn't smudge and it's not too dry making it difficult to apply. This is true for the full line; blush, foundation, eye sticks, lip stick, liners, light sticks, etc. They have a product called, "Secret Glow" it makes skin look alive. Thanks for a great question. I'll be checking back to find tips.
  7. after applying foundation, rub your palms together (to create heat) and place them on your forehead, nose & chin. it warms up the foundation & helps the blending process. i learned it from some magazine my mom had in her office =)
  8. now for the summer I use a bronzer to avoid regular makeup... so it's lighter on the face since we are going to sweat... and lip gloss to shine up lips with a spf chapstick before lipgloss. if you tend to be out in the sun walking about, use a spf moisteriser..
  9. Only wear eye liner on the outer half of your lid, it makes your eyes look bigger and "pop". ♥ xoxo
  10. Make-up tips vary from person to person. Someone may want to know how to make their eyes look closer if they have wide set eyes, or someone may want to know how to make thier lips look fuller, or Someone may want to know how to make their eye shadow last longer. I am a beauty consultant, and it is my job to know these things. I could fill this page with many ideas, but that would take me several hours. Therefore, I will refer you to www.marykay.com/rebecca. There you will find a virtual make-over. However, I will tell you it is not so much about make-up, it is about good skin care. Make-up will only do so much, but a good skin care will do the most to make a difference. you can also get good quality skin care at www.marykay.com/rebecca
  11. 1.) color-in your brows. your eyebrows frame your face, and it will give your face a softer appearance. i bought a good eyebrow brush and use an eyeshadow (slightly lighter than my hair color) and color in my eyebrows. 2.) don't forget to use a soft pink blush on the apples of your cheeks. 3.) don't forget to smile. that's the best way to look your best.
  12. having well groomed and defined eyebrows goes A LONG way even when you're having a bad hair or makeup day as long as your eyebrows look nice and clean, it really cleans up your face

  14. Start with a clean face properly prepared face, by this I mean any moisturizers or special concealers or eye creams. Begin with foundation, blending so there is absolutely no lines of demarcation, cause its just plain tacky. you can add any highlight or shading technique that is right for your facial proportions, remember that highlight brings forth and shade conceals or makes darker. Blush. Can be used on your cheeks, chin, forehead (just a bit where they may be needed, you don't want to totally rouge your whole face, but it can be applied to bring out your best features.) Blush can even substitute for lip color. When doing your lips, add just a bit of light colored highlighter to the very middle of the bottom lip, this is best done with powder, and gives a puffy look to your bottom lip. After you line and before you apply lipstick or lip gloss. When applying your mascara, make sure you do the tops of the lashes too. Then apply powder to your whole face, and your eyelashes, then reapply a coat of mascara, this gives your lashes more volume as well as creating a completed look of your all over makeup. If you are already dressed before you apply your makeup, be sure to grab a towel to place below your neck to protect your clothes from any makeup fall out. for an easy breezy look, just apply moisturizer or sunscreen, mascara and lip gloss and you are good to go!
