Any women from India here? Beauty questions for you..?
I'm american but I love the style and beauty of Indian women, especially the long silky hair. Can you give any great tips on making hair long and shiny? Special conditioners or shampoo? Also jewelry tips? I saw a woman with some beautiful anklets recently. Thought I'd ask! By the way, I am not trying to look like I'm from India. Anyone knows that an intelligent person will ask those they admire for tips! What type of oil for the hair? Also, I'm mostly interested in hair and jewelry. Bite me, I think it's funny how you always have someone with some stupid response, that has nothing to do with the question. I don't admire you, especially with your crudeness. I'm a beautician and admire beauty in all women. Quite frankly, I think you and one other person had racist responses. Also, the internet gives you a chance to meet and learn from all different types of people. Thank you to those with a helpful response. To those of you who acted defensive and racist, you are the types who like to keep people divided, instead of coming together. You should be ashamed of yourself! I'm also wondering how someone asking a question about hair or jewlery has anything to do with imitating someone? If another race said "caucasions had beautiful hair and jewelery, any tips"? I wouldn't think they were trying to look like they were white, just looking for beauty tips. Grow up!

- India's people are so beautiful!!!
- Well, i have a bit if Indian in me, and honestly, Indians use oil in their hair. Before taking a shower, they lather it in a special type of oil and then wait 30 minutes. Then they wash it out. The most popular shampoo and conditioner is Head & Shoulders, as well as SunSilk for Indian hair. A lot of Indians use Henna (Mehendi) to color their hair. As for jewelry, you can find local Indian stores. There is a house near mine that sells really nice, authentic Indian clothes and accessories. There is most likely something like that near you, or an Indian grocery store might have it (the one I sometimes go to does).
- Their long silky hair is genetic. You can achieve it by growing it long and not damaging it by straightening it or curling it. Leave it natural and use shampoo and conditioner that makes your hair stronger and shinier- Garnier or Pantene are great starters. For their clothes, go to thrift shops- I'm sure there are a ton of unique Indian ensembles you can try on. There's bound to be a ton of Indian jewelry. There are also local Indian stores where they sell nice Indian clothing and accessories. If not, you can try creating your own Indian outfit and send it to a tailor to get it custom made or you can go to an Indian jeweler who can make Indian jewelry for you!
