- haha, yhea i know what its like to have azn eyes. i'm half filipino. my makeup consists of a thin black line on both the bottom and the top of my eye and lenghthening mascara, it does wonders, haha, i have tiny stupid eyelashes too. :P
- I have a friend who is asian and her make up is perfect. She has small eyes, but with make up on they look really big. She traces her whole eye with liquid eyeliner, instead of just putting it on the upper eyelid, which some people do. For eye shadow you should try different shades and see which ones work for you. For lashes you can get eye lash extensions, which are quite expensive, but it really makes your eyes pop. For foundation Clinique is really good. One thing that you must have for applying make up is good brushes! MAC and Clinique are two that I would recomend. They're expensive but well worth it in the long run.
- if u ask me, im a perfect opposite to you. i have big eyes and long, thin eyelashes....i dun use mascara..but i assure u use maybelline...to make yr eyes stand more use dark blue or dark purple eyeshadow..my sister use that all the time
- First, use a good eyelash curler to CURL your eyelashes. I use a Shisheido curler so you might want to check that out. Put it under a blow dryer for ten seconds and remember to test it on your hands so you won't burn your eyes. Heated curler will make your eyelashes SUPER curly if they're stick straight. Then, apply some Shisheido mascara to HOLD that curl and I recommend the Shisheido Mascara Base. I've tried many mascaras and noticed that only the Shisheido ones work because it doesn't weight down your eyelashes. After, use Max Factor 2000 Calories mascara and put two coats on top and bottom eyelashes!! This will automatically open your eyes. Use a dark eyeliner on the top and slightly extend the line outside the lid and curve it upward (Do this only if you're Asian, if you're not, skip this step) Put some white eyeliner on the inner rims on top and bottom of your eyes to OPEN them. Use two color eyeshadows such as gold all over the lids and some purple on the crease and blend. OR you could choose other colors like green, blue, creme, ect...almost all colors work with dark brown eyes. If you have perfect skin, skip foundation. If your skin is shiny use powder and dab them on your cheeks, nose, ect...Use a light tan bronzer or a little pink blush on the apples of your cheeks. Use concealor and blend it with your foundation to cover any blemishes if you have some. Lastly, finish off with a nude lip gloss that slightly brings attention to your lips. Good luck! p.s. Powder: shisheido, loreal true match, covergirl tru blend, almay
- shu uemura eyelash curler; bare minerals mineral veil; MAC studio finish concealer; Diorshow mascara or Lancome DÉFINICILS - High Definition Mascara;
- use eyeliner, play up your eyeshape by going a little cat eyed. on your upper lid start at mid eye though, not in the inner corner, go along the lash line then let it get a little thicker as you sweep out toward the outer corners, not too wide though or it'll look trashy. Plus, don't line your lower lid, it'll make your eyes appear larger. Only use mascara on your upper lids. use a light sweep of bronzer just below your bottom lid, upper lid try light champagne or a soft shimmery gold, nothing too glittery though. I think a soft grey would workfor you too.on your brow bone use white or a light pink, barely, you don't want to look like a clown though, this will make your eyes stand out. *Foundation,I can not stress this enough MERLE NORMAN, expensive but worth every penny!
- I myself is a Chinese girl and to know that most of the make up tip that might look gorgeous for Caucasian girl can be horrible on an Asian girls.. Because we have eye that smaller and puffier than theirs... And the second thing is to get the right foundation, because our skin is also different... So this is what I use for daily make up -Foundation - Shu Uemura, water based foundation... It is a Japanese brand therefore the foundation should be perfect for Asian skin, well... I like water-base foundation cause they are much more natural, although it only give your a light to medium coverage... I think that it's good enough -Loose Powder - Shu Uemura... I uses the transparent color cause my skin tone kind changes quite often... It's this white powder that will set your foundation and blend in with the color after a while, so it will look white at first but once it set in, the color will be natural... -Eye Brows - If you're new to drawing your eyebrows, get something that is hard so that you don't apply too much... I would again recommend the one from Shu Uemura Eyebrow pencil, cause when you purchase it the Promoter will shave the pencil to an angle that will be very easy to use... -Eyeliner - Any very pretty item from Shu Uemura, there is many metallic color that they have to offer which is perfect to be use alone or on top of any eyeshadow... It is also super lasting if you need to wear it for the whole day. Since you're using it for school I would recommend you to use the Metallic Brown(I like it cause it's natural and it shimmers)... This is how it should be done. First, the upper lash line, start off as a fine line from the inner corner and bolder towards the end, then end it with a tiny 'tick' to lift your eyes. Then for the lower lash, start from the outer corner and work your way into the middle.. Then stop and blend off the solid line a little with a Q-Tip... Cause if you go a full round, instead of making your eyes appear bigger, it makes it smaller... -Eyelashes - You should get a eyelash curler and curl the upper lash.. This should be how it's done, try to imagine you dividing your eyelashes into 3 parts where your will squeeze the curler onto, cause i notice many girls having this weird eyelashes that curls at a 90˚ because they squeeze it only once and really hard, so you should do it 3 times instead of 1, and don't squeeze too hard, just some pressure and hold it for 3 secs then move on to the next.. and you'll have the perfect curl(Even if you have short lashes)! Then get any lengthening mascara of your choice, not necessary expensive, as long as it's black and waterproof... 2 coats on the upper lash and 1 coat on the lower lash(that is if you don't sweat too much, cause mascara on lower lash smudges easily)... Okay, I love Lancome's Hynose Waterproof mascara in Black... It lengthens and give you dramatic lashes, but it is a little costly.. - Cheeks - Use orange of you want a tan healthy look and pink if you are fair and want a cute and clean look.. So I have both, and so that I can change... Pink from MAC and orange from Shu Uemura... -Then just smack on some lip gloss from any brand!I personally loves the clear lip glass from MAC, it's lasting and is the shiniest that I have ever seen.. So basically yes, you can use both MAC and Shu Uemura, but like I said Definitely Shu Uemura for the foundation and loose powder cause they blend well for Asian skin, but other than that it can be any brand of your choice, just remember to not use anything too light for your eye shadow, cause it'll make your eyes all puffy...! Enjoy...! P.S. I know that means spending alot of money, so go slow... You don't have to get everything at once, I would say to get the eye part first and then the face then the lips and slowly add more to your collection...
- Use ur eyelash curler and curl it in 3 steps: (1)Curl it near the lash line, (2)Curl it in the middle of the lash, (3) Curl again at the very tip of ur lashes. By doing this, u can achieve a near 90 degrees curly lashes! Don't forget to apply ur mascara multiple coatings to achieve that intense look! Loreal's true match 2 way foundation is nice to use. It didn't cause me any break outs. Here's a tip for those who wants to achieve natural make up using concealer/foundation, eyeliner (pencil preferably), mascara, cream blush (light pink or peach) and lip gloss. First conceal ur blemishes, dark eye rings wif concealer. Then squeeze a bit of ur concealer tgt wif liquid foundation, mix it and use it as a highlighter at ur Tzone and cheek bones. Colour in ur eyebrows using the same shade of ur hair colour if need to (do not use black as it tends to fierce ur look). Dap a bit of ur cream blush onto ur cheek bones and blend it outwards to ur hairline. Using cream blush again, dap a bit onto ur top eyelid (not the whole but near eyelash) as a mean to highlight ur eyes and looks bright and big. Curl ur lashes, use ur middle finger and pull ur eyelid slightly upwards and slowly line in using pencil eyeliner. This way when u close ur eyes, others will not notice u had ur eyeliner on but will make ur whole eye a lot brighter! Do Apply mascara multiple coats and apply a bit of gloss onto ur lips and its done! All within 5 mins!
