anytihng "true match" works great. and if you smudge eyeliner on your eyelid as if it was eye shadow, that looks cool too.
Choose colors that compliment your skin tone, the trick is to make it look like you are not wearing any.
Use white eyeshadow just in the inside corner of the eyes to make them pop and not seem so deep set. Also just a dusting directly under the eye brow high on the brow bone. Makes eyes seem brighter.
as boring as it sounds..... go to the website of the makeup brand you bougt and it tells you how to do it and it looks great or you can look at them anyway and use what you have everyone tells me i wear my makeup very nicely and if someone does it for i tell them no i do it myself and that i go to websites look up tutorials and look at magazines btw ive noticed as long as you do it right, it doesnt matter what color you use excpet for bright red and bright blue can be a little too dramatic but you can use a little bit of them sorry i dont have picture examples at the moment :[

when using eyeliner and eyeshadow, i make it lighter towards the nose and the further to the ear the darker i go, it looks more natural
i have a secret make up tip. it looks good on every one! put a baby blue on you entire eye lid only, then get a sea green color and put it lightly over it, after that get a dark sparkly blue and at the end tip of your eye dab,VERY lightly on. then, put a exremaly, very very very, light pink on-top of that. try it! it will look awsome, if you follow my instructions VERY carefully!
As a Bloke I hate too much make up on the girls. My tip is to go easy on it unless you have a face like mine then its surgery..
Want to make your eyes look bigger- When using eyeliner only put it on only half way across. Start from the outside and go halfway in. I think lip gloss is a must after applying lipstick. It gives you that glossy look and help the color stay.
put white eye liner on your lids (like eye shadow) then apply your chosen eye shadow over the top-stays on for longer x
My best make up discovery was eyelash curlers. Wish I'd known about them in the days when I couldn't go out the door without my false eyelashes!

This isn't really a secret, but just don't wear too much you want it to look natural.
to look woken up put white eye shadow under your eye thats what beauty queens use... use a paint brush to apply eye shadow its softer and looks better
If ur skin isnt that bad, stick to just concealer (only where u need it) and a bit of bronzer all over ur face for the day time to look natural. For night, line ur eyelids with black eyeliner nd smuge it. This will make ur lashes look thicker when the mascara is on. When u put on mascara, do a zigzag motion instead of just sweeping up. Benefit powder is brilliant for uneven skin tone, buy it!
If you have liquid eyeliner and normal eyeliner. then put then together. not explaining it any more.. as it is my own ideas.
if you want to really bring out ur eye color: *blue eyes: blue shades intensify, while browns add contrast to make them pop. blue eyeliner (navy), brown/black mascara. *brown eyes: brown shades intensify, while lavender makes them pop. use black eyeliner, black mascara. *hazel eyes: brown/hazel shades intensify, while pink makes them pop. use brown eyeliner, brown/black mascara. *green eyes: green intensifies,shades of plum/and a little brown makes them pop. plum eyeliner, brown mascara. *if u apply just a bit of concealer in the pocket where the eye and nose meet, itll brighten the eye... *use white eyeliner on the inner of you bottom lash line to makes ur eyes look more open and awake. *perfect eyes: curl lashes, 1-2 coats of mascara (comb between coats), and then eyeliner. hope these help!!
All I can say is cleanse, tone and moisturise!! Oh, and foundation that actually is the same colour as your natural skin tone!
