Ava Make Up Essentials

Q to all Girls/Women who love beauty, make-up, fashion?

I'm part of a team finalizing the development of a brand new beauty website. It's going to have the hottest products & reviews, all the best pro secrets & how-to's (with plenty of illustrations) and live interactive chat with pro make-up artists...& much much more! Our goal is to create the best beauty site out there, but we need your help! We've got some great content ideas ready to publish, but we would like to hear from you, our future readers, exactly what would make this site perfect. What are some things other sites lack? What could they improve? Give us anything and everything so we can give you the best, then see if your ideas made the cut by visiting the site at www.GlamGasm.net later on this month! Serious answers only -- xoxo, GG

  1. i'd like a website that has a section for makeup basics, for all the beginners. all teenage magazines have instructions for big smokey eyes etc. :D
  2. a tips section from other users/readers tried and tested remedies, ideas and products nothing beats word of mouth and we all have that little "thing" that we do that is relatively unknown different price range comparisons, i use an expensive foundation, lipstick, eyeshadow & mascara because they are the best for me, but the powder i prefer above all others is cheap, so a high, medium & low priced alternative comparison of each product would be good
  3. I like it when sites/magazines test out different products and review them. For instance, they test out six different mascaras and say which is the best one, accounting for price and maybe packaging, too. You should have articles about different hairstyles/make up looks. Also fashion styles of the moment, and where to get cheap buys right now. Good luck with your site and I'm looking forward to visiting it! :) xxxxxxxxxxx
  4. A section comparing whether it is better to spend a lot of money on an expensive product, or buy the cheaper alternative
  5. it should have a corner that may suggest what color makeups will suit on what complexion,.,and also telling the basics of doing makeup...kind of online classes for those who want to learn makeup completely step by step in detail on internet....at least i will really appreciate that because on internet i cannot find any site that really tells all the detailed process of dong makeup,,,all of the makeup artist try to hide secrets ..and give s video in somehow shortcuts...
  6. use simple language which can be easily understood, dont use high n big words, be appropriate, dont forget to mention the price of product and lastly provide the contact information mainly the e-mail so that queries can be sorted out .
  7. include product reviews... :)
