  1. Here's mine: Vaseline- the best thing for chapped lips. even if they're not chapped, I use it and it makes my lips soft and healthy. Light gold eyeshadow- I put a little of this on the inside corners of my eyes, by the nose. it makes the eyes appear wider apart.
  2. I recently discovered facial scrubs which have little bits in them. They really make your face feel soft and my skin has been MUCH better.
  3. Petroleum jelly as a lip gloss or highlighter underneath your brow bone.
  4. I love the smokey eye look. MAC sells a shade stick in a color called Sharkskin. Apply the sharks skin all over the lid, and get a light colored pigment and apply it over the sharks skin blend it together, with wind-shield wiper like effects. Apply black liner to the lid above the eyelashes and to the bottom lash with black mascara.
  5. I used to get frustrated with eyeshadow that creases or disappears. But I found this genius cream you put on your eyes first called Cucumber Fix made by Medic. I ran out and I haven't found it since unfortunately. Clinique do an alright alternative that is called 'touch base for eyes', its a bit cheaper as well.
  6. CONTOURING WORKS WONDERS AHAH this works wonders. i do it all the time now ! use either a dark and light powder. or a tanned dark mouse foundation and a highlighter. http://org24.zorpia.com/0/3595/23009360.3f07d0.jpg put them on like in that picture on top of your foundation and concelear, and blend either with your hands or a makeup powder brush. honestly, contouring is amazing. x
  7. put your foundation spunge under water before putting coverup on it so you dont look so fake and it blends better. vaseline for chapped lips. or longer eyelashes. wait 30 seconds after taking out mascara brush so eyelashes dont clump. After applying foundation, if you feel that there might be too much on, simply blot with a tissue. This will eliminate excess oil or moisture from the foundation.
  8. If you use a liquid powder make-up, mix it with some lotion on the applicator, it helps keep your skin moisturized and your makeup won't dry out on your face.
  9. if u've got tired eyes, apply a white pencil inside ur eyes like u'll do with khol, always apply a ivory colour in the inside of ur eye to widen ur eyes. also always apply ivory/white to the bit under ur eyebrows. always blend ur foundation with ur moisturiser then apply. there is a new foundation that is AMAZING from lancome, pretty dear but really good : ABSOLUE TEINT SPF20 (about £45) when applying the blusher, do like a number 3 on each side of ur face and then apply some from the middle of ur forehead to the end of ur nose. hope this helps!

  11. My not so secret anymore makeup tips! : Lips - if chapped or dry use an old toothbrush and wet your lips with water and brush the dead skin away! Then apply vaseline/ lip balm - To make the lips look bigger, use a lip pencil in the closest shade to your natural lip colour and trace around edge of your lips and blend in using your fingertips and then apply vaseline. (Gives the illusion your lips are naturally bigger) Nose - If you want to make a wide nose look thinner use a glowly foundation and line it down the middle/centre of the nose and blend downwards. Gives the illusion your nose is thinner. - For big noses...using bronzer brush it down the middle of the nose and blend! (creates a light shadow in the middle of the nose which then highlights around the nose because this will be lighter taking the 'limelight' off your nose! Eyes - To make eyes appear bigger...use eyeliner underneath your bottom lid and use white eyeliner in the inside of your lid. Dont apply mascara to your bottom lids. - To make eyes appear smaller...use eyeliner in your inner lid. Stay away from using eyeliner on the outside of your eye because this will only add to it making it look bigger in general. - To brighten up tired dull looking eyes (espically the day after a night out!) use white eyeliner on you inner lids and in the inner corner of you eyes. Also apply vaseline on lids (replacing eyeshadow). Eyebrows - To make your eyebrows appear higher or more arched, or if you need to pluck your eyebrows but dont have time!...use a shimmer/highlighting cream and apply under the eyebrow. Some general tips too: If you dont want to look like your wearing makeup but cant bear to go without - use a light powder and apply with a brush. This will give coverage whilst still looking natural! Some brushes get runined when you try to wash them. This will sound mad but my aunt who is a make up artist told me this and it works a treat for cleaning my big powder brushes...use a hairdryer and it sweeps out remaining powder etc without ruining the brush! - Always carry a brush and blusher...no matter what people say, blusher always fades no matter the make. So for a quick fix up always carry these...instantly refreshes and brightens the face! Hope this helps girls! x
  12. i dont think this is very secret but yeah: first, i apply the white eye-lash extender mascara from Loreal (the real name is Double Extension) . i let it dry and then i put the Carbon black one on (the mascara i mentioned on is a double sided/brush one) i let this dry aswell and then i apply a cheaper one over the base, and i enphasize the edges etc. =] one more: apply lighter eyeliner on your top lid...it looks better than a completely cohled eye the tip above does not apply for goths/emos/etc.
